It's that time of year again! Katherine's House & Rita's House staff and volunteers are hosting the annual Women in Recovery Breakfast on Wednesday, October 14th 8am - 9am at the Kent ShoWare Center!

Katherine's House and Rita's House are transitional housing programs for unhoused, adult women in recovery from substance use disorder.

“I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I’m super, super thankful.” - Jennifer, Dorothy Day House resident

After a mental health crisis, Jennifer found herself with nowhere to turn and began living in her car.

She connected with CCS’ Bunny Wilburn Shelter and, from there, transitioned to a home at Dorothy Day House, a CCS program that provides permanent housing to 41 adult women in Seattle.

At Dorothy Day House, women like Jennifer find a supportive community where they can put down roots and build a sense of home.
