Together, we explored the flavors and traditions of Umbrian seasonal home cooking while connecting across Seattle and Perugia. We recently enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Bakke Coffee Museum in Seattle, a unique space that celebrates the history and culture of coffee through an extraordinary private collection of over 800 large and small espresso machines and related artifacts, most of them from Italy and other corners of the world.
We greatly appreciated the insightful explanations shared by Kent Bakke and Abby Impanbutr, and our president, Mark Ippolito, briefly thanked them for their kind hospitality in welcoming us to the museum, which made the experience even more special. The visit, organized for SPSCA members, was truly enjoyable for all attendees, who sipped freshly prepared coffee while exploring this one-of-a-kind space.
The Bakke Coffee Museum welcomes visitors year-round, with guided tours by appointment, walk-in visits on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, and regular special events.👉 Learn more at www.bakkecoffeemuseum.com
