The Haida, Tlingit and Tsimshian Nations have existed as separate and distinct people in Southeast Alaska and Canada since time immemorial. In 1912 the Alaska Native Brotherhood (ANB) was founded by Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian leaders who united to work to correct the injustices experienced by Natives throughout the Territory of Alaska. At its 1929 convention in Haines the ANB passed a resolution

🎉T&H Seattle Community Council Herring Egg Distribution 5/16 for PORTLAND, COMMUNITY! 🎉

Eligibility:
✅Limit one per household
✅Enrolled T&H
✅Registered to Portland Voting Community

We have heard your requests, and due to some additional registration spots being available, we are happy to announce that we are now including Portland community members in this distribution!

Registration will be closed when all of the spots are filled.

We encourage you to share this registration form with elders in your life who may not use social media or have access to the internet. We want to ensure our elders are getting served to the best of our ability.

🎉 Hand Drum Making Workshop for Native Youth! 🎉

‼️ Update 5/14: Workshop registration FILLED, now accepting waitlist registrations.

We are happy to announce the next event in our Haa Léel’kw Has Joonix̱ Haa Sitee workshop series! On Saturday, May 30th, from 10-12 PM, we are hosting a hand drum making workshop for Native youth at the Tlingit & Haida Lynnwood office.

🗓️ When: Saturday, May 30th, from 10 AM to 12 PM
📍Where: T&H Lynnwood Office, 20700 44th Ave W, Suite 220, Lynnwood, WA, 98036

There will be door prizes, lunch will be served, and youth will get to connect with other Native youth in the community while making their own hand drum. All Native youth 14-24 are eligible to register, not exclusive to T&H citizens! All materials will be provided.
