Welcoming the beautiful weather with May Flowers with Amariah! Our program coordinators monthly programming this month was how to make bouquets with the lovely flowers that are in season! What a great turnout and pretty thing to do today:)

Latin Dance Fitness with some extra guests last week! Here at Lake City Seniors we have been working on intergenerational connection! brought some of their students over to see how our Senior Center works and operates. They were able to not only join some of our classes, but also meet some of our long standing volunteers and learn what it is like to not just help our Senior Community, but also be apart of it. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!

Yesterday, for our Program Coordinators monthly programming she made Shamrock Shakes for the participants 🍀 Boy did these go quick!

Our participants today got to meet with puppies from 🤍 They wore these puppies out! It was so amazing to partner with such an amazing organization and to learn about all the incredible work they do. 🐶❤️🫶

Earlier this week, we hosted a Valentine’s card-making program as part of our monthly series with our new Program & Activities Coordinator, Amariah. It was a sweet way to spark connection, conversation, and gather ideas to help us continue growing and strengthening our center because we truly LOVE our seniors!

Today’s fun fact reminds us how deeply Black innovators have shaped everyday life. This Black History Month, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and keep learning together.
