For the first time in recent memory we are throwing our hat out to raise some dollars: We are asking you to GiveBig this year!
From 2023 on, BBA has explored long term solutions to develop a community-centered vision for the future of Beacon Hill’s historical landmark, the Beacon Hill First Baptist Church at 1607 S. Forest Street. BBA’s funded work doesn’t extend beyond programming and advocacy for the small business community, meanwhile the building has fallen on hard times as the congregation struggled with resources to keep the building maintained and numbers have dwindled.
Why do we need your support? You will help us activate this Beacon Hill community third space. Your donation will help cover repairs from squirrel and raccoon damage, and to humanely disincentivize further habitation that has damaged roof structure on a beautiful Ellsworth Storey building.
Something is happening at 1607 S. Forest. Help us protect it.
Support A Roof to Root For! on Washington Gives
We are raising funds to repair the roof of our beautiful shared space at 1607 S. Forest Street

Beacon Hill is rocking BRUNCH! Thank you Eater Seattle for pointing out two of our neighborhood spots as "Seattle's Best Brunches"
Seattle’s Best Brunches
Overnight-marinated French toast in a nostalgic diner, springy gluten-free waffles in salted coconut egg cream and honey, dim sum dumplings — these meals are worth getting out of bed for.

TODAY Wed. April 22 - North Beacon Hill residents are encouraged to come out for the Public Safety Town Hall, from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. Neighbors will have chance to share their experiences and ask questions after hearing from District 2 Councilmember Eddie Lin and others about public safety concerns that persist and where additional services are needed.
"North Beacon Hill the Community Assisted Response and Engagement (CARE) Department has started proactive patrols in the neighborhood. CARE responders work alongside Seattle Police and Fire and assist when calls involve people who may be experiencing behavioral health challenges. Seattle Police also announced North Beacon Hill as their priority area in District 2. And the city's Unified Care Team, which ensures our public spaces, sidewalks, and streets remain open and accessible, has also increased its activity in our neighborhood."
Venue: ICHS PACE is located at the Beacon Pacific Village building. Thank you to our hosts Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) and International Community Health Services (ICHS).
If using maps to navigate, input ICHS PACE. The address is:
