Maple Leaf Flowering Cherry

Maple Leaf neighborhood landmark! The Flowering Cherry Tree on the corner of 90th and 12th. This tree is a Prunus x yedoensis "Akebono".

It was recently awarded "Best in Neighborhood" by the Heritage Tree organization a part of Plant Amensty. We believe the tree is 80 to 100 years old. The arborist responsible for its care is Michael Bray with Standing People Tree Care. www.standingpeopletreecare.com
