Pool day QTs! We’re collaborating with Oshun Swim School and Seattle Pride to co-host a QTBIPoC-centered adult open swim session at Rainier Beach Pool. Allies are welcome at this event, but please take a look at the ally agreements and head to Oshun Swim School’s website for more info. Pool noodles provided, let’s all play mermaids together! With the upcoming World Cup, Rachtha Danh from Puget Sound Sage will be giving a teach-in about FIFA and what it means for Seattle and its residents to host the biggest sportsball event in the world. Join AAoC on next week’s QTBIPOC Policy Practice Space on Wednesday (May 20th) 5:30 to 7pm to learn more about what FIFA will bring and how you can show up when all the world’s eyes are focused on the soccer ball! C(E/Em) is coming back to host a virtual space so that folks can learn about the visa process on 4/16 6-7:30pm! A Black q***r disabled fiction writer, e is moving to Norway 🇳🇴 in August. As part of the process C had to travel to DC in order to apply for em residency visa in person. In this Policy Practice Space C will go over em experience of applying for the visa, the appointment for the visa, the follow up in Norway, and what it was like traveling while Trans.
