Wrong route. Right response.

A car on elevated train tracks isn’t something our crews see every day. When it happened, train service was paused so teams could safely remove the vehicle, and ensure everything was ready for trains to return to service.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the specialized equipment and teamwork that helped get the job done safely.

On June 19, our region will host two historic moments. While Seattle Stadium hosts the U.S. Men’s National Team as they face Australia, our agency will (for the first time ever) partner with community organizations across the region to celebrate both the beautiful game and the Black experience.

This is a chance to come together, honor culture and community, and show the world how the Puget Sound region lives its values and supports its people.

Join us at free, family-friendly events across the region:

📍 June 7 — Can I Kick It: Black Brilliance in Motion | Seattle
Hosted by LANGSTON & Black Arrow FC
📍 June 19 — Lynnwood Juneteenth Freedom Festival | Lynnwood
Hosted by Project Girl Mentoring
📍 June 19 — Juneteenth Festival: A Road to Economic Freedom | Tacoma
Hosted by Way Out Kids & Rodney Raccoon
