Today is the day.

From 11am - 5pm at Dr. Blanche Lavizzo Park, The Black Altar Project invites you to The Unfestival.

Listen to thoughtfully curated live music, gain insight with mystic practitioners and enjoy complimentary food provided by Moe Vegan x Vegan Crack ™️ and other local food vendors.

The Unfestival is a space for those who find summer loud --- an opportunity to slow down, breathe deep, and be alone, together.

What to bring tomorrow!

First and foremost, bring yourself. That is all that's required.

And to support an afternoon of rest and reflection, attendees who wish may also bring:

* Blankets and seat cushions - For lying in the park or sitting in the amphitheatre.

*Books, paper, crafts - Notebooks and colored pencils will be provided for journaling, doodling and artmaking.

The Unfestival will also be providing complimentary food from on-site food trucks including Moe Vegan x Vegan Crack ™️!

Bottled water will be available, but attendees may want to bring their own beverages.

It's an intentional space to be alone -- together.

It's an entire afternoon built around rest and restoration.

It's for anyone who finds summer loud and wants an opportunity to slow down, listen to music, get your cards read, and turn the volume down.

On Sunday, August 23, The Black Altar Project presents: The Unfestival.

From 11am - 5pm the Central District becomes a slower kind of gathering --- a place to listen, rest, and be among people without having to perform.

Join us for intentionally curated lived music and one-on-one sessions with local mystic practitioners.

Swing by The Black Altar Project table for a quiet space and individual spiritual readings.

Trusted spiritual practitioners will be facilitating individual, one-on-one sessions with adult community attendees.

These sessions draw on the practitioner’s own lineage-rooted or tradition-informed practice and are offered as a public cultural service.

Sessions may draw on one or more modalities within the practitioner’s established practice, including but not limited to:
* Tarot or oracle card readings
* Intuitive or energetic readings
* Folk tradition consultation
