Our Story
The Seattle Indian Center(SIC) is a long-standing and vibrant human services organization serving the Seattle metropolitan area. We were established in 1958 and have held 501(C)3 status since 1972 with the mission to provide programs and assistance to disadvantaged individuals. We happily serve people of any ethnicity but focus on providing culturally relevant services that meet the unique needs of American Indians and Alaska Natives. Over the years, our list of programs has changed to meet present needs and address current challenges, but our commitment to serving our community never wavered!
