Thank you to Port Angeles Kiwanis and the Cape George Colony for hosting candidate forums this week! I really appreciated a chance to answer questions at these.
So what's next? Here is a schedule of forums coming up this next week in which I will participate - hope to see you!
-Tuesday October 6, 6:30 pm, a forum will be hosted by the North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce at the Brinnon Community Center
-Thursday October 8 at 1:05 pm, KONP radio in Port Angeles is hosting and airing a candidate forum.
-Friday October 9 at 7:00 am, Northwester Rotary is hosting a forum at the Port Angelese Senior Center
-Sunday October 11 at 2:40, the Grays Harbor LWV is hosting a forum at Aberdeen High School.

Special invitation to everyone interested in doing things different!

On October 4, Bainbridge Mayor Clarence Moriwaki, Olympic College President Joan Hanten, Dia Armenta, Ron Erickson, and special guest Krist Novoselić Cascade Party of Washington chair and longtime Northwest musician, will come together in support of my candidacy.

The best parts of this campaign has been the diverse coalition behind it: Democrats, Republicans, independents, labor, small business, law enforcement, and local community leaders. Because it’s time for change and Kitsap is stronger when we work together…not just within our own political corners.

This won’t be a big-room campaign event. It’s a smaller gathering with limited capacity, designed for real connection.

It's a stretch to call a photo from a political forum an "action shot", but thank you Quilcene School District for hosting last night's forum. Lots of great conversation, particularly surrounding education.

Everett residents should have their voting rights restored. My opponent voted to subvert democracy instead of making a case for transit consolidation. The Everett and Community Transit merger would result in the largest sales tax increase in Washington State history, without a vote from the citizens of the affected area. We deserve the right to vote!

I always enjoy the Quilcene Oyster races - it's misty and cold now but I am sure we will all warm up soon!
