In 2025, The Northwest Seaport Alliance handled 3.2 million 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) through the Seattle-Tacoma gateway, connecting local products to more than 40 international ports around the world.

• 40% of jobs in Washington are tied to trade

A flavorful new way to enjoy the waterfront. With so much happening along Seattle’s waterfront this summer, we’re launching a temporary Pier 69 Food Truck Activation Pilot Program to help bring even more energy to the corner near our headquarters.
We’re now seeking food truck vendors interested in participating in the pilot program. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through May 31.

The public comment period for our Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) Near-Term Projects for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is underway. Review the Draft Environmental Impact Statement, attend a public meeting, and leave a comment to get involved. Learn more at https://sea-samp.com.

Be part of the process! The Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) is the blueprint for future development of SEA. Today, we released the official State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the SAMP Near-Term Projects (NTPs) at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The 60-day public comment period begins May 22, 2026 and ends July 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. PDT. Find out how you can leave an official public comment online, by email, mail, or in person at one of four in-person public meetings. The same information will be presented at all meetings in an open house format. Language translation assistance will be available at all public meetings in addition to childcare services.
