Port of Seattle Welcome to the official page of the Port of Seattle. Port operations help support nearly 200,000 jobs and $7 billion in wages throughout the region.

Founded in 1911, the Port owns and operates Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Fishermen’s Terminal – home of the North Pacific fishing fleet – and public marinas. The Port also owns two cruise ship terminals, a grain terminal, real estate assets, and marine cargo terminals through its partnership in the Northwest Seaport Alliance. Over the next 18 years, the port’s “Century Agenda” seeks to create an additional 100,000 jobs through economic growth while becoming the nation’s leading green and energy-efficient port. By air, land, and sea, the Port of Seattle connects passengers and cargo to destinations around the globe. Port activities at airport, cargo, commercial fishing, and marina facilities generate nearly 194,000 jobs across Washington state. We proudly sponsored this year’s Salmon Homecoming Ceremony in Seattle at Piers 58 and 62. The Salmon Homecoming Alliance hosted this annual Tribal event to honor the return of local salmon and celebrate our Coast Salish Tribes and their rich culture. The gathering featured vendors, a canoe landing and protocol, and powerful performances from participating Canoe Families and Tribes.

Events like this offer good medicine for our Tribes, and we hope the images from the celebration lift your spirits as well.
