Today, leadership of the Husky Battalion was formally passed as MIDN 1/C Vasquez turned over command to MIDN 2/C Pochop during this year’s Change of Command.

As one command period comes to a close, another begins. Thank you to MIDN 1/C Vasquez for the leadership and dedication shown throughout the past period, and congratulations to MIDN 2/C Pochop as she takes the helm as Battalion Commander for the new command period and next school year.

Here’s to building on the standard, leading from the front, and continuing to develop the future leaders of the Navy and Marine Corps.

Maintaining attention to detail, discipline, and professionalism continues to reinforce the Battalion’s preparation of future Navy and Marine Corps officers.

Through inspection and accountability, midshipmen, OCs, and MECEPs, are held to the standards expected of leaders in the Fleet and the Corps.
