💙 Celebrating Therapy Month at Copeland Oaks & Crandall Medical Center! 💙

This Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the dedicated team at Absolute Rehabilitation and the important role they play in helping our residents live life to the fullest!

Since 2008, Absolute Rehabilitation has provided therapy services at Copeland Oaks & Crandall Medical Center, helping residents build strength, improve mobility, regain confidence, and maintain their independence.

Their team provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy across Crandall Medical Center, outpatient services, and home health services throughout our campus.

✨ How do they make a difference?

💪 Physical Therapy: Improving strength, balance, walking, and mobility.

🏡 Occupational Therapy: Helping residents with everyday activities like dressing, bathing, grooming, and maintaining safety at home.

🗣️ Speech Therapy: Supporting communication, cognitive skills, and swallowing needs.

Beyond the exercises and treatment plans, the team values getting to know each resident personally and celebrating every milestone along the way. Whether helping someone regain confidence while walking or making daily activities easier and safer, their goal is to help each resident reach their highest level of independence.

🍂 Fall Festival Fun at Copeland Oaks! 🍁

There’s nothing like celebrating fall with great music, delicious treats, and wonderful company! Residents and employees gathered behind Lakeview Terrace for a festive afternoon filled with autumn fun. ❤️

🎶 Samuel John brought the entertainment with his heartfelt original songs and fresh takes on familiar favorites.

🍎 Guests also enjoyed all their fall favorites, including kettle corn from Double Deuce Kettle Corn, coffee and drinks from Thirsty Tin, and delicious donuts, apples, and c***r from White House Fruit Farm!

From toe-tapping tunes to tasty seasonal treats, it was a wonderful afternoon of laughter, friendship, and making memories together. We love celebrating the seasons with our Copeland Oaks family! 🧡

🍕🧠🎶 Fun-Filled Evenings at Copeland Oaks! 🎶🍎

Copeland residents enjoyed a fun-filled week with Pizza & Pub Trivia Night! Residents enjoyed pizza and refreshments while teaming up for several rounds of trivia covering a little bit of everything—from music and movies to TV, history, “Remember When?” and more! There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and maybe a few surprising answers along the way! 🍕🎉

Residents also enjoyed another special evening featuring fiddler Kerry Varble and a delicious treat of warm apple dumplings. 🎻🍎

At Copeland Oaks, there’s always something fun happening—and plenty of opportunities to Worry Less. Live More. ❤️

On September 25, we’re celebrating Dolly Parton and the joy, kindness, and inspiration she has shared with the world. From her unforgettable music to her generous spirit, Dolly reminds us to embrace who we are, follow our dreams, and always bring a little more kindness into the world. 🌟

🎡 National Assisted Living Week at Copeland Oaks! 🎡

We had a fairly fantastic time celebrating National Assisted Living Week with a week full of fun, laughter, music, and memories! 🎪

We kicked off the week on Monday with a visit from Zoo to Go of Cortland, Ohio. Residents enjoyed getting up close and personal with some adorable animals! 🐐🐰🦆

Tuesday brought “Fair Bingo,” where all of the prizes were inspired by favorite fair treats and goodies. 🍿🍬

On Wednesday, residents enjoyed a fascinating documentary about the history of the county fair, followed by wonderful country western music from James Popp. We enjoyed fresh lemonade and cotton candy while listening to the music! 🎶🍋🍭

Thursday was movie day, featuring the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic State Fair. 🎬🎡

We wrapped up the week on Friday with a delicious, fair-inspired lunch from Jeff Walker's Catering, followed by classic fair games including Ring Toss and Tin Can Alley! 🌭🎯

It was a wonderful week celebrating the joy, friendship, and community that make Assisted Living at Copeland Oaks so special! ❤️

Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the re-dedication of the Williamsburg Lounge!

🎶 An Evening of Music at Copeland Oaks! 🎶

Copeland residents enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with music and fun with the John Hampu Band! Residents gathered together to listen, tap their toes, and enjoy the lively entertainment.

🌿🌸 Garden Tour & Lunch! 🌸🌿

Copeland residents enjoyed a beautiful morning exploring the Garden at Hippley Village, a private garden in Columbiana. Residents took in the beautiful flowers, landscaping, and peaceful surroundings while enjoying a morning together.

After the tour, everyone headed to Riser Tavern on the Links for a delicious lunch and more time to socialize and enjoy each other’s company. What a wonderful way to spend the day!
