Today, Guadalupe County Fire Rescue visited Navarro Elementary School for Fire Safety Week. Our crew spent time with students talking about fire prevention, stop drop and roll, and what to do if there’s smoke. We loved seeing all the great questions and bright smiles. Thank you, Navarro ISD, for having us.

Today, Guadalupe County Fire Rescue assisted the Seguin Fire Department with an approximately 10-acre fire.

B-Shift Squad 71 personnel made location and assisted with fire suppression efforts alongside Seguin Fire Department crews.

Today, Guadalupe County Fire Rescue was proud to attend the first day of school at Clear Springs Elementary!

We want to give a special thank you to Dr. Garcia and her incredible staff for welcoming us and allowing GCFR to be part of such a special day for the students, parents, and community.

Events like this highlight the importance of the partnership between Guadalupe County Fire Rescue and the Guadalupe County Fire Marshal’s Office. Our mission goes far beyond responding to emergencies. We believe in being present in the community, building relationships, supporting our schools, and connecting with the families we serve.

Today was about more than fire trucks and the first day of school—it was about showing our community that GCFR and the Fire Marshal’s Office are here, involved, and committed to being a positive part of the lives we protect.

Thank you, Clear Springs Elementary, for letting us share in the excitement of the first day of school. We hope all of the students have a safe and amazing school year!
