September 8th – 11th is Oklahoma Ag in the classrooms “Read an Accurate Ag Book Week”. Our FFA Officer Team read books to several elementary classes with the goal to advocate for agriculture by teaching young students about where our food comes, why it’s important, the role of a farmer, and the impact agriculture has on our everyday lives! . .

Congratulations to Annie for once again being a State Champion!

Last night she became the state champion in the Extemporaneous speaking division. In this division participants are given 30 minutes to prepare a four to six minute speech on a randomly selected topic and answer questions over it!

Annie has now won both the state FFA Prepared Public Speaking Championship and the state Extemporaneous Championship for Oklahoma! This hasn’t been done by an FFA member in twenty plus years!

She will go back to Indianapolis this fall to represent Oklahoma nationally in the Extemporaneous division!
