Craig and Jen Michelle, owners of ShellBee Homestead, joined us for lunch last week to share insights into their self-sustaining homestead lifestyle. We enjoyed learning about the daily work and dedication that go into running their farm. They also brought samples and prizes featuring some of the wonderful products they make right there on their homestead!

Cindy Stanfield will oversee a project for those who want to participate in a paint by number art class. She talked with us at lunch about the process and showed us some beautiful paintings she has done with the kits. Participants will submit a favorite picture to be converted into a paint by number kit on canvas. It will take 3 or 4 sessions to complete. Because of the time involved in getting the submitted pictures converted by the company who provides the kits that they will send back to Cindy, we need members who want to participate to sign up this week. The finished works will be pieces of art,. The classes will be held in November.
