Great news about the Arkabutla Dam repair!
A major piece of the work to keep the dam and downstream areas safe has been completed.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District successfully reached a major milestone in the Phase II interim risk reduction measures (IRRM) at Arkabutla Dam with the completion of grouting within the outlet works. This critical step further stabilizes the dam’s outlet works and reduces risk for downstream communities.
