If this doesn’t motivate you to get out and vote for Angie Eberspacher for State Board of Education on November 3, we're not sure what will.
The post below is from the Nebraska Stonewall Democrats, the Nebraska Democratic Party’s official caucus. They are hosting a “Q***r Candidate Forum” on October 20 in Omaha. On the panel: Michaela Conway, listed as the District 5 candidate for the Nebraska State Board of Education.
That seat writes education policy for Seward County. The State Board sets the rules our local schools live under.
Angie Eberspacher of Beaver Crossing is the other name on the November 3 ballot. She is a former classroom teacher with degrees in elementary and early childhood education, a past chair of the Educational Service Unit 6 Board, and a mom and grandmother who has farmed in this district her whole life. She led the May primary districtwide. Incumbent Kirk Penner endorsed her, along with countless senators and conservative leaders across Nebraska.
Her focus is what parents keep asking for: reading, writing, math, and science; fiscal responsibility; and a board that answers to families.
The ballot will say nonpartisan. The choices are not.
On November 3, Vote Angie Eberspacher for State Board of Education, District 5.
We have already been shouting this from the rooftops but this year Nebraska has had THE MOST q***r candidates running in one cycle than we have ever had. 15 total candidates and 12 in the general election! Not to throw shade, just to give some perspective: Louisiana has 1 and Hawaii has 19. So we think we are doing pretty well for a small ruby red state!
We think one of the BEST ways to celebrate that is to host Nebraskas FIRST Q***r Candidates Forum!
Join us at SET The Bar on the evening of October 20th and let’s make some history in Nebraska together!
Stay tuned for our moderator announcement!!
