As the sun sets on this day, we close a chapter of Adra Rowland County Clerk 1st term of office. In reflection, this chapter had a lot of different characters. Some were definitely characters and some friends. There were goodbyes to friends who passed away, renewal of friendships and some new friends to cherish.

I have grown as a wife, mom, friend, and elected official. I was honored to be Mayor Larry Waters commission secretary in his last term. Who knew this little hometown girl would grow up to serve alongside the longest serving mayor in the state.

So here is to the next chapter!! I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me, my family, and Sevier County, the greatest place to live, worship, work, and play. God Bless this great county, God Bless this great state, and God Bless each of you!

Trying to find a way to honor Sevier County’s First Lady? 36.00 of the 65.00 goes to Dolly’s Imagination Library.

Like many others, we are still saddened by Dolly Parton’s passing. 😔💔 This country music legend used her fame and fortune for good and made time to give back. Part of the proceeds from Dolly’s Tennessee specialty license plate support childhood literacy through her Imagination Library, and it is one of our more popular specialty plates. See more information about her plate and others on our dashboard: https://www.tn.gov/revenue/title-and-registration/data-dashboards/specialty-plate.html
