On Monday evening, The King's Academy Girls Basketball Team was recognized by Mayor Waters and the Sevier County Commission for another outstanding season.

The Lady Lions finished 27-9, earned the Region Championship, and advanced to the Final Four, continuing their tradition of excellence.

With multiple all-district and all-region selections, the team once again demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork throughout the season.

Congratulations to Cade Harvey. Proclamation 2026-04-01 honoring his achievements.

Last night, Mayor Waters and the Board of Commissioners were proud to recognize Cade Harvey, a student at Sevier County High School, for his outstanding achievements in competitive trapshooting.

Cade has earned national recognition as a First Team All-American and continues to represent Sevier County at the highest level, including a national championship and multiple state titles.

His dedication, discipline, and success serve as an example for young athletes across our community. Congratulations, Cade.
