Olive Stephens Elementary Olive Stephens Elementary's mission is to build a community of learners for life. All posts will be consistent with Denton ISD's policies and guidelines.

Opened in 2008, our school is named after Olive Stephens, who served the town of Shady Shores as mayor for nearly four decades. We believe that ensuring high levels of success for all students requires a collaborative effort between staff, parents, students, and community members. We are thankful for the continued support of all of our stakeholders as we "build a community of learners for life!"
We are committed to working together with our parents and community members to ensure high levels of learning for all students.

👻🎃 No tricks, just STEM treats! 🧪🕸️

Calling all Bulldog families! 🐾 Join us for a SPOOK-tacular evening of STEM fun on October 22nd from 5:30–7:00 PM! 🔬🧡 Come ready to explore, create, and have some spooky fun!

Students are welcome to wear their favorite costume! 👻✨ We just ask that costumes be family-friendly (no weapons, violence, blood, or gore, please!).

🌭 Hot dogs and water will be provided!
🍿 STUCO will be selling chips, popcorn, and sodas to raise money for our student leaders!
🍧 Kona Ice will also be joining us for some sweet treats!

🏕️✨ Camp Day in 3rd Grade! ✨🏕️

We had the BEST time camping at school! 📚🔦 We read by flashlight, spent time hanging out in our tent, and became little scientists as we put together graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. Then we took our creations outside, observed the changes, and—of course—enjoyed the yummy treat! 😋🍫🔥

Learning + experimenting + a little camping fun = the perfect day! ❤️🏕️
