Police Dispatchers play an important role in public safety by receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering critical information, communicating with officers, and helping ensure information is relayed accurately and efficiently. We’re excited to introduce Yessica Gil and Alissa Aguilera, the City of Shafter Police Department’s very first cadets!

The Cadet Program gives participants the chance to learn more about law enforcement, gain valuable experience, and explore a future career in public safety.
