My entire life has been rich with outdoor adventures! My Dad, my uncle, so many people throughout my life have shared hunts, hikes, canoe trips, camping and so much more with Ken and I. Our “Heaven” on Earth is camp on the northern end of Moosehead Lake. So it’s fair to say “the great outdoors” and all it offers brings great joy to our lives!

🌲 Supporting Maine’s Forest Economy 🌲

Representatives Tammy Schmersal-Burgess, Mike Lance, and Peter Wood recently met with the Maine Forest Products Council to discuss the issues facing Maine’s paper, pulp, logging, and broader forest-products industries.

From the woods to the mills, Maine’s forest economy supports thousands of jobs and remains an important part of the communities and working heritage of rural Maine.

Keeping an open dialogue with the people who own our woodlands, harvest our timber, operate our mills, and move Maine forest products to market helps ensure that the challenges facing these industries are heard in Augusta.

Maine’s forests don’t just define our landscape — they support
communities, businesses, and generations of Maine families.

🌲 Maine Woods. Maine Workers. Maine Communities.
