We’re looking for families, groups, and community members to help make it extra festive! Decorate your trunk, bring your Halloween spirit, and join the fun!

Fall 2 Programs Are Here! 🍂

Looking for something fun and enriching to add to your schedule this fall? We have some great Fall 2 programs coming up at Sharon Recreation! There’s something for everyone, from little ones to adults! 🎉

♟️ Chess Wizards – Learn chess, build skills, and have fun!

💃 On the Barre Dance Studio – A variety of dance classes for children and adults, with something for every age and experience level!

🍽️ Dining Etiquette Classes – Help your child learn important dining manners and proper etiquette in a fun and engaging setting.

🤝 Protocol Social Skills Classes – Build confidence and learn valuable social skills that children can use at school, at home, and in everyday life.

👩‍🍳 Kids Test Kitchen – Young chefs can have fun cooking, learning new skills, and trying delicious recipes!

🎶 Preschool Dance & Music with Ms. Jenn – A fun-filled class where our littlest participants can dance, sing, move, and make music!

Due to the Nor'easter conditions forecasted for this Sunday, September 27th—bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds—we have made the difficult decision to cancel Sharon Day after conferring with public safety officials.

While Sharon Day is traditionally held rain or shine, these severe weather conditions pose significant safety concerns for our attendees, vendors, and staff. Because of scheduling and logistics, there is no rain date for this event, and it will not be rescheduled for this year.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all the community organizations, sponsors, local businesses, and volunteers who worked hard to prepare for this weekend.
Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe this weekend.

****Please note there will be NO on-site parking (other than limited handicapped parking with a placard) due to on-going paving construction in the parking lot on Wednesday August 19th. Limited handicapped parking will be available on-site. Vehicles without a handicap plate should plan to park at Sharon HS or in the Pond St parking lot and walk to attend the concert***

106 East Band returns to Sharon for this summer’s final concert of the Lakeside Concert Series!

Due to rainy conditions throughout the day Veterans’ Memorial Park Beach will be closed for operations today 8/17/26.
If you decide to swim or use the facilities, please understand you will be doing so at your own risk. We will resume normal beach operations tomorrow during our normal hours. Thank you!

As a reminder, staffing and lifeguard coverage for Community Center Beach will end after today, Friday August 14th. Veterans Memorial Park Beach will be staffed through Saturday, August 22nd.

The Recreation Department extends our thanks and gratitude towards our dedicated team of waterfront staff for their work and commitment during this hot summer.
