One of the most amazing and heartwarming aspects of the volunteer fire service is watching generations working together...brothers teaching brothers, sons teaching dads, friends and neighbors becoming family. If you ever want to find out more about what we do, please feel free to stop by on a Tuesday night or send us an email at [email protected]

Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services had our first ever Intro to the Fire Service for Adults and it was fantastic! Thank you to all of the participants and a HUGE thank you to everyone who pitched in to help teach and explain what we do! Looking forward to doing it again!

Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company Station 217 and Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services had a fantastic fire prevention morning at Kerr Elementary. The kids were so excited and had lots of questions! They loved meeting Sparky the fire pup. We love teaching young folks about how to be fire smart and fire safe!
