▪️Certification under the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and/or Kansas Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
▪️ Successful completion of the following National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) or International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) certifications through the Kansas Fire and Rescue Training Institute or an equally recognized and accredited organization.

Firefighter Sam Bart recently completed hands-on training at Wichita HOT, focusing on fireground skills in live-fire scenarios.

Training included advancing hose lines through tight hallways and stairwells, primary searches, forcible entry, and ground ladder placement.

This training helps our firefighters maintain the skills needed to respond to emergencies in our community.
