BURN BAN IS BACK IN EFFECT
🔥 A Countywide Burn Ban is in effect from October 6 through October 20, 2026.
🚫 Please adhere to the burn ban. Dry conditions increase the risk of fires starting and spreading rapidly. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that could create sparks or ignite dry vegetation.
⚠️ ENFORCEMENT: Any law enforcement officer of the State of Oklahoma may enforce the burn ban resolution.
Violation of the resolution is a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, may result in:
• A fine of up to $500
• Imprisonment for up to one year
• Or both fine and imprisonment
🔥 Do your part to help prevent wildfires and protect our communities, first responders, property, and natural resources.
Please take the burn ban seriously and help spread the word.
