Hey Gals! Swing by the library tomorrow during Ladies Nite Out! Starting at 4:30, we'll have take-and-make pumpkin CRAFT KITS, a book RAFFLE, and special deals at our BOOK SALE. It'll be the bee's knees! See you there!

Everyone! Join us for Ladies Nite Out: Falls Goes Gatsby! on October 15, 2026, beginning at 4:30 PM in Downtown Historic Sheboygan Falls! The Duck Hunt returns! Duck Hunt cards will be included in your tote bag, but everyone can join in the fun! Stop by the Distinctive Design Center, 215 Pine Street, that evening 4:30-6pm to pick up your hunt card—no purchase necessary! While you’re there, check out the fabulous raffle baskets and purchase raffle tickets to support the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund. Everyone is welcome to participate in the raffle! In past years, our Ladies Nite Out raffle has proudly raised more than $15,000 for the Cancer Care Fund, helping support local individuals and families right here in Sheboygan County. Come enjoy a little Gatsby glamour, join the fun, and help make a difference in our community!

A look at the week ahead:

Wednesday - Babytime at 10:00. Bring your littlest bookworms to the library for a fun and interactive storytime designed just for them! Enjoy songs, stories, and playful activities that help build early literacy skills, encourage bonding with caregivers, and promote socialization in a safe and welcoming environment. Perfect for babies and toddlers, Babytime is a great way to introduce your little one to the world of books and language. As always, older siblings are more than welcome to tag along and will get in on the action just as much as the littles.

Thursday - YOGAtime at 10:00. Join Ms. Britt for mindfulness stories, calming activities, and a short yoga video designed for preschoolers. This storytime is geared toward kids ages 3-5, but older and younger siblings are more than welcome! Grown-ups are encouraged to join in the fun!

Wednesday - LEGO Day at 3:00. Builders of all ages are invited to dive into our giant bin of LEGO bricks to find the perfect pieces to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Bring finished builds to the front desk and we'll put them on display!

Plus, sign your kiddos up for one of our on-going reading challenges. Readers who have not yet started kindergarten can sign-up to earn prizes while developing a love of reading with their caregivers through our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Kids in kindergarten and beyond can register for our Reading Dragons challenge where they'll earn collectible creature cards simply for making reading a daily habit.
