Today was one of my most favorite days of work in awhile.

We were able to get six students from Sheboygan South High School for their service day. They were tasked to help us cleanup under the Georgia Ave bridge, picking up garbage and painting over graffiti. We also went underneath the bridge at N 14th and Ontario to paint some more.

WOW did these students work so incredibly hard. I am beyond proud of the work they did. This was a lot of hard labor and they did it all without complaining💪🏻 This was really cool to do for the city. 😊

Last week, RCS Empowers, Inc. hosted its 21st Annual Employer Recognition Luncheon. The event is a celebration of employers who are committed to hiring and supporting the individuals RCS serves 😍

We were given an award because of a tour Officer Fickett and I did for some participants of RCS 😁

October Pawlice Report! 🐾🚨

Officer Meyer here! I stopped by the Humane Society of Sheboygan County yesterday for my monthly Pawlice Report, and this month, I’m putting the spotlight on the cats! 🐱❤️

HSSC has a whole lot of cats and kittens in their care right now, and they’re all ready to fall into furever with you. I got to spend some time with Millie and Flo, and let me tell you, these girls made a pretty strong case for adoption!

🖤 Millie is 3 years old and as sweet as can be. She loves attention, pets and making new friends.
🖤🤍 Flo is just over a year old and a total purr machine. She’ll be right at the front of her kennel, meowing for attention and doing her best to convince you to choose her!

And there’s even more reason to adopt this month: 🎃 OCTO-PURR is happening now, with 50% off all cat and kitten adoption fees through October 31!

Not in a position to adopt? You can still help! HSSC relies on donations to care for all of these cats, and the many other animals who come through their doors. Their wish list is updated weekly with the supplies they need most, so there’s always an easy way to lend a paw. ❤️

Check out the current wish list or make a donation at AdoptSheboyganCounty.org/Donate.
