With the chance for low relative humidity, sparse storms, and high heat, Toole County will be under a weekend red flag warning. We will not allow open burning or controlled burns this weekend effective immediately. The red flag warning will expire Sunday at dusk. In addition, campfire can only be held in an approved campsite and smoking must be done in a vehicle or within a 6 foot radius that is open to mineral soil. Please feel free to reach out to the Shelby Fire Department chief with any questions you may have. Ron Buck (406)450-8924.
