Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the publics assistance in avoiding the area of US HWY 63 near LP for an accident that is under investigation. Please use detours: If you’re heading to Spooner take USH 63 – Vermont Ave – County Hill Rd – Hayward Rd – back out to US HWY 63. If coming to Hayward, please either take USH 63 – County Hwy E or, USH 63 to Hayward Rd – County Hill Rd until this scene can be cleared up.

Cranberry Festival is tomorrow 10/3 in Stone Lake. If not going to Stone Lake the detour for State Highway 70 is 70 to CTH M north to CTH A. Highway 70 east at CTH M will be open if going to Stone Lake for Cranberry Fest.
