Información sobre la votación de la biblioteca en su boleta del 3 de noviembre. 🗳️

We want everyone in our communities to have access to information about the upcoming library levy. This post is also available in Spanish to help more people learn about the proposed measure and what it could mean for Timberland Regional Library services.

Saturday, October 17 at 11AM, Pegasus Puppet Theatre Presents La Ratoncita Presumida/The Vain Little Mouse!

In this story, the tiny heroine thinks herself much too fine to accept the proposal of a common mouse. Instead, she sets her sights on ‘worthier’ matches, such as the sun, the wind, and the mountain. Yet, her search for the perfect suitor brings her right back to the romantic little mouse who first proposed. This show was developed with the guidance of Venezuelan Americans and features Venezuelan music. A truly bilingual experience!

Swing by the library to color a square for our community quilt while supplies last!

We first met Amber of Color me Loved at last year's Winter Art Market. When makers were invited to share their stories, here is what she shared: "My quilt square coloring kits are rooted in my personal search for accessible yet meaningful projects to do with my father who had Alzheimer’s.”

We’re thrilled that Amber is helping us create community quilts at all three Mason County branches (Hoodsport Timberland Library and North Mason Timberland Library). We love seeing all the ways that the community is coloring the quilt squares!

The completed quilts will be on display at each library before being donated to a local nonprofit.

Thank you to everyone who has colored squares at the library or at a Mason County TRL Anywhere Library stop and thank you to the Friends of the Shelton Timberland Library for supporting this project at the Shelton Library.
