🚨 REGIONAL GRANT AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

West End Fire & Rescue is proud to announce that we, along with Rescue Hook & Ladder of Shenandoah, Shenandoah Heights Fire Company, and Girard Hose Company of Girardville, have been awarded a regional FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) for the purchase of new structural firefighting turnout gear.

This award is a great example of neighboring fire departments working together toward a common goal — improving firefighter safety and ensuring our members have the protective equipment they need to safely serve their communities.

Funding opportunities like the AFG program allow departments to make significant investments in firefighter safety while reducing the financial burden on the municipalities and communities we serve.

We are proud to be part of this regional effort and would like to thank everyone who helped make this grant possible.

Congratulations to all four participating departments!
