Week 8 βοΈπ
EIGHT WEEKS DOWN! How is it already Week 8?! π± Between community service, haunted house preparations, classroom learning, and all the craziness in between, our students and teachers have been keeping BUSY! Since Parent-Teacher Conferences happened this week, we thought it was the perfect time to share a little snapshot of what we have been up to over the past couple of weeks! π©΅
π Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup Day! π§€ποΈ
Two weeks ago, our students headed outside for our Adopt-A-Highway cleanup day! The kids had a blast getting some fresh air, spending time together, and giving back to our community. Who knew picking up trash could come with so many laughs and memories?! π We love seeing our students take pride in the place we call home and put our Global Citizen skills into action. A HUGE shoutout to our students for helping keep our community clean and beautiful! ππ
π» The Haunted House Is ALMOST HERE!!! ποΈπΈοΈ
If you have been wondering what all the spooky activity around school is about, WE HAVE BEEN BUSY! Our students have been working HARD to bring this year's haunted house to life! From hanging flyers around Mount Pleasant and helping with construction to building spooky scenes and practicing their acting skills, there is a LOT happening behind the scenes! ππ¨
Our students have been showing off their creativity, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and maybe even their ability to scare a few people! π All their hard work is coming together, and we cannot wait for everyone to see what they have created!
THE HAUNTED HOUSE IS NEXT WEEKEND!!! π¨π
Mark your calendars, grab your bravest friends, and come check us out! We have a spooky good time waiting for you, and we would LOVE to see our community come out to support our students! π€π¦
π Trimester 1 Is Winding Down! βοΈ
While our students have been busy with all the fun outside the classroom, they have also been putting in the work academically! With the end of Trimester #1 getting closer, students have been reviewing material, practicing important skills, and preparing to show what they have learned. There is still work to do, goals to reach, and progress to make! πͺ
We are proud of our students for continuing to balance their academics, projects, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. That is no small task, and we love seeing them grow, challenge themselves, and work together along the way! π
And just like that, Week 8 is in the books! βοΈ We are so proud of everything our students have accomplished so far, and we cannot wait to see what the next few weeks bring. Between spooky surprises and the end of the trimester approaching, things are definitely NOT slowing down anytime soon! π
Stay tuned, keep cheering our students on, and we hope to see you at the haunted house NEXT WEEKEND! π»π·οΈπ€
