Shepherd Police Department This is the official Shepherd Police Department page. It will also allow those who may not understand to be educated on certain topics.

The Shepherd Police Department has created this FB account to interact with the community and to allow transparency with those we serve. Department understands criticism is a way to learn and stay educated on topics concerning the public. The Shepherd Police Department proudly serves the Village of Shepherd and Coe Township. Our Officers are also deputized to enforce criminal and civil law in Isabella County. The department however will not allow any derogatory remarks, comments, pictures, video or links. The department will not allow any illegal activity to be broadcast on this site or have links to any immoral or improper websites. Any abuse will result in that FB friend account being removed. This page is managed by the Shepherd Police Department. This page and comments posted are monitored, but not on a 24/7 basis. We are happy that you have become part of our extended family and hopefully as a team we all will provide the best service possible.

Our agency, and other local agencies will be wearing mourning bands on our badges in honor of the passing of retired Isabella County Undersheriff John Tellis.

They will stay on our badges until his burial on October 7th.

Tomorrow is the John Bruder Cross Country Classic at Shepherd High School. 39 high school teams and 30 middle school tea...

Tomorrow is the John Bruder Cross Country Classic at Shepherd High School. 39 high school teams and 30 middle school teams will make up the 1400 athletes that will compete.

The schedule is:

4:40PM - K-5th Grade Combined 1-Mile Run
5:00PM - Middle School Boys 2-Mile Race
5:30PM - Middle School Girls 2-Mile Race
5:40PM - High School Boys 5K Race (Top 8 Runners)
6:10PM - High School Girls 5K Race (Top 8 Runners)
6:40PM - High School Combined JV Race
7:20PM - Open 5K Race

They will have workers helping to park vehicles as efficiently as possible.

With this many athletes, parents, supporters, etc...there will be a lot of traffic in town.

Please slow down, watch for people walking/warming up for the event and have patience.

There will be a lot of talent from all over Michigan participating tomorrow. If you're not doing anything, go down there and check it out...our Team and all the runners would love the support!
