With a fresh school year in full swing we wanted to make another post about the ever popular E modes of transportation.

E-Motos specifically are not E-Bikes. They are illegal on roads unless registered as a motorcycle and ridden by a licensed motorcycle operator. They are allowed on private property. They must have lights same as required by a motorcycle. These are also not allowed on any sidewalk or bike path.

Reminder that you must be at least 15 years old on ANY class of E-Bike, and are not allowed passengers without proper factory equipment. E-Bikes are allowed on bike paths, but are not supposed to be on sidewalks.

The City of Sherburn has issued a Peddler's Permit to Southwestern Advantage for door-to-door sales of educational materials through August 31, 2026.

Please note that neither the City of Sherburn nor the Sherburn Welcome Police Department verify the products being offered. Residents are encouraged to carefully evaluate any products or services before making a purchase and should never feel pressured to buy.

We’d like to take a second to say we appreciate the parents and guardians in Sherburn who brought out our 7 participants for the Bike Rodeo! Welcome on the other hand had 0. As always, we look forward to putting in the effort and doing it again next year!

The Fox Lake Event Center is pleased to offer free rides home from the Fat City All-Stars Holiday Festival Dance on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 PM–11:30 PM for guests traveling within the Sherburn city limits.

Have fun, celebrate, leave your car at the event center, and let us get you home safely!

Prayers for our brother in St. Peter. 🇺🇸

Last night, a Saint Peter Police Department Officer was shot in the line of duty on Bunker Lane. We are hopeful and encouraged by reports that the officer will recover from his injuries.

Even when the wounds are not life-threatening, it is still a tragic and sobering reminder of the dangers our law enforcement officers face every single shift. They run toward danger so the rest of us don’t have to.

Please keep this officer, his family, and all who serve in your thoughts and prayers. Get well soon, brother — we’ve got your six.
