It is an honor and a blessing to watch Danes & Manes come to fruition. We asked our veteran handlers to attend a ranch visit from our favorite seniors at Crown Point Retirement Center. We pulled some of the horses and ponies out and allowed them to be groomed and loved on. We had service animals off lead allowing them to socialize with everyone, even our token therapy dog, Mayham, made himself comfortable in their van. We also took some of the more bold seniors on a ride through the woods on the side by side and by the look of their faces, they had a blast. I offered next time we'll have to fire up the campsite and have a smores night. ❤️ 💙

We had dinner tonight with Chaaka and her Ability Dane, Ember. 🤣 ❤️ She's trained well and bonded closely this past year, giving her handler the ability to get through the day physically and emotionally. It's an honor to be a part of their process.

It's always fascinating watching Mika, and especially Maya, seek people out that just needed some help or support; even if it is for a bit of attention. You can physically see the therapeutic nature dogs have for humans, as if by design. ❤️ 💙
