Jefferson Learning Center Welcome to Jefferson Learning Center! Jefferson Learning Center is a non-disciplinary school of choice.

We are a self paced, accelerated program seeking to address unique needs in an alternative setting in order to help students be more successful. To strengthen the overall effectiveness of our communications and align practices with available staff resources, comments have been disabled on Sherman ISD’s official district and campus social media pages. This will allow the communications staff and school administrators who manage these pages to focus on providing timely responses through traditional communications channels, along with their other responsibilities. Our ACES crew had such a great time visiting HUGS Café in McKinney today!

We loved getting the opportunity to explore the café, learn more about the work they do, and see such an amazing example of inclusion and independence in the community. It was a fun and meaningful experience for our students, and we are so thankful to HUGS Café for having us!

Such a great day for our ACES program at Jefferson Learning Center!

Today was a rare occasion at JLC. We had an outstanding student walk away with 3 awards. Congratulations to Demarcus Futrell for being a star student, having the most course completions, and being the student of the month. He was awarded with certificates, a $20 gift card to Casey's from Blake Utter and a $25 visa card from Cory Hernandez from State Farm. Thank you to both of our sponsors. We appreciate you.
