The Haunted Library After Dark is this Friday!

Vern, our resident library ghost, needs your help! Join us for a spooky-but-not-scary family book club adventure as we discuss The Haunted Library, follow Vern's trail of clues, and explore the library after dark!

Haven't read the book yet? No worries! It's a short read, so there's still time to read it together before Friday...or at least get started! Copies are available to pick up at the circulation desk.

It's National Friends of Libraries Week, and we want to give a big thank-you to the Friends of the VVS Corner Library!

From supporting programs to purchasing park and museum passes, our BookPage subscription, and the planters that brighten our outdoor space, their generosity helps us do more for our community. We're so grateful for all they do!

Interested in joining? The next Friends meeting is Thursday, October 29, at 4 PM. We'd love to see you there!

We had a great time being part of Treat Street and seeing all of the creative costumes! Our VVS Corner Library Book Hospital was a hit, and we handed out plenty of bookmarks, stickers, and candy.

The child dressed as an old lady told me we looked alike. Hmm... I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that one!

Thanks to everyone who came out, and to everyone who put together such a great community event!

Our October Pretend Play Corner theme is a Farm Stand!

Stop by this month and let the kids have fun playing farmer, selling produce, and shopping for their favorite fruits and veggies!

The library is partnering with VVS fourth graders to honor local veterans this November!

We're looking for veterans willing to share a little about their service. Students will turn your stories into artwork and thank-you messages featured on our Community Art Wall.

No school on Friday meant a busy day at the library!

From Fall Paper Squishies and our Meet Caroline American Girl event to our first-ever Free Costume Shop, there was something for everyone!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, donated costumes, and volunteered to make it all happen. We love seeing the library filled with creativity, laughter, and community!

REMINDER: The library will be CLOSED Monday, October 12. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen on Tuesday!
