Happy National First Responders Day!

Today is a great reminder to thank the men and women who show up when people need help the most. To our police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all first responders — thank you for what you do, the sacrifices you make, and the families who support you behind the scenes.

Your job isn't always easy, and the things you see and go through don't always get recognized. Just know that what you do matters!

A special shout-out to all those who serve and protect our District! Thank you for everything you do to keep our community safe.

If you know a first responder, take a minute today to thank them. They deserve it!

Our team recently attended the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association conference in Duluth to strengthen their skills, expand their knowledge, and grow as leaders.

Sessions covered a variety of important topics, including recruitment and retention through leadership and culture, NFPA codes and standards updates, electric vehicle-related emergencies, MN OSHA compliance, and the use of AI in the fire service.

👏 A special shout-out to our very own Firefighter Kellie, who co-taught Fire and Life Safety Education: Tips, Tools, and Thinking Outside the Box! It’s great to see our team sharing their knowledge and expertise with others. 👏

The conference also provided valuable opportunities to connect with fellow professionals, explore new resources, and share ideas. We look forward to bringing that knowledge home to better serve and protect our District!
