We have THREE positions on the Board of Directors up for reelection, and we have three candidates running. We would prefer to have at least two candidates running for each open position. Please, if you are interested in running for the board, let us know as soon as possible.
From the Bylaws: The Board shall consist of five (5) Directors, all of whom must reside within the service area. At least three (3) shall be Patrons age 60 or older. Up to two (2) may be community members younger than 60 who reside in the service area and support the mission of the Senior Center. No employee or immediate family member of an employee may serve on the Board, and no two immediate family members may serve simultaneously.
Service Area: The organization’s service area has the same geographic boundaries as the Shoshoni Senior Citizens Service District and the Shoshoni Cemetery District.
