SPAR FAMILY, October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, and we are proud to support Louisiana Key Academy – Caddo Campus with a community Paper Drive!

Our goal is to collect 500 packs of copy paper to help stock classrooms and support students with dyslexia. Every pack makes a difference!

We're throwing it back to last year's SPAR Trunk or Treat, and these pictures remind us just how much fun we had!

The costumes, the candy, the decorated trunks, and all those smiling faces! We can't wait to do it all again this Halloween, and we want YOU to be part of it!

Join us Saturday, October 31, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Cargill Sports Complex for one of our favorite fall traditions!

This FREE, family-friendly event will feature candy, food trucks, a Best Costume Contest, a Best Trunk Contest, and plenty of Halloween fun!

Get ready for one of SPAR's favorite fall traditions!

We're looking for businesses, churches, organizations, clubs, and community members /groups to decorate a trunk and help make Halloween unforgettable for local families. The more trunks we have, the more smiles we'll see!

πŸŽƒ October is packed with a ton of activities, special events, and opportunities to connect with SPAR Recreation!

From youth tennis & fall break camp to chair aerobics and family events, community celebrations, and more, there’s something happening throughout the month at SPAR recreation centers and parks across Shreveport. Not to mention the City Wide Trunk or Treat!!

Take a look at our October Citywide Events Schedule and make plans to join us. Many of our programs and activities are FREE and open to the community❕

School breaks are better with SPAR!

SPAR is offering FREE Youth Camps during Fall, Thanksgiving, and Winter Breaks for children ages 5–12 and teens. Our camps provide a safe and welcoming place for young people to stay active, connect with friends, and enjoy fun activities while school is out.

πŸ¦ƒ Thanksgiving Break Camp
November 23–25
8 a.m.–4 p.m.
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 27.

❄️ Winter Break Camp
December 21–23 and December 28–30
Registration begins October 5.
Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Space is limited, and registration is required.

To register, visit a SPAR Community Center near you. For more information, contact your local Community Center or call (318) 673-7872.
