Happy National Dog Day to our favorite 2 pups!

๐Ÿพ Two K9s. Two Important Missions. One Community. ๐Ÿพ

K9 Storm and K9 Sally โ€” two incredible members of our team who serve our community in very different, but equally important, ways.

๐Ÿš” K9 Storm is a dual-purpose Belgian Malinois, trained to assist deputies with law enforcement operations, including narcotics detection, tracking, and apprehension. Stormโ€™s skills provide an added layer of safety for our deputies and the citizens we serve, helping locate suspects, detect dangerous substances, and assist in situations where every second matters.

๐Ÿ’™ K9 Sally is a Crisis Response Dog, whose role is focused on comfort, compassion, and emotional support. Sally helps bring a sense of calm and reassurance to people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Whether assisting during a crisis, supporting victims, or simply providing a comforting presence, Sally has an important role in helping our community heal.

While Storm and Sally have very different jobs, they share the same mission: serving the people of our community.

One protects. One comforts. Both make a difference. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Please join us in recognizing K9 Storm and K9 Sally for the important work they do every day! โค๏ธ

Our Deputies and K9 Team have been hard work this week!

A dedicated K9 team plays a vital role in suppressing narcotics and keeping our community safe. K9s provide deputies with an exceptional tool for detecting illegal drugs, locating hidden narcotics, and assisting with investigations that may otherwise go undetected. Their presence also serves as a strong deterrent to those involved in the distribution of drugs, helping protect our families, neighborhoods, and community from the dangers associated with narcotics.
