The library is gearing up for Fat Bear Week! Sponsored by explore.org and Katmai National Park in Alaska, this annual tournament showcases some of the largest brown bears in the world as they bulk up for their winter hibernation. You can read all about the bears, vote for your favorites, and watch the bears on live cam by visiting the Fat Bear Week website. (Bears will be eating salmon, so viewer discretion is advised.)
