Thanks to the STLDairyCouncil’s Dollars for Dairy grant, Wing Elementary received a new milk cooler to help promote dairy and encourage participation in school meals🥛🐄!

We’re also excited to introduce our newest four-legged friend, Daisy! 🐮 Through the St. Louis Dairy Council’s Adopt-a-Calf program, our elementary schools will receive monthly picture updates of Daisy as students learn more about dairy and where it comes from.

Today, our district dietitian, Ms. Amy, introduced Wing Elementary students to Daisy! She even added some extra fun to lunchtime by hiding a sticker on the bottom of a milk carton in each lunch shift. The lucky students who found the stickers won a cow-themed prize! 🐄🎉

We’re so thankful for these opportunities to make learning fun and bring more dairy education to Bulldog Nation!

SPS had an outstanding time at last night’s Sikeston Chamber Banquet!!
First we recognized our Educator of the Year, Sikeston Junior High School’s Natalie Holley!!! Then we recognized Sikeston Public Schools Foundation for Civic Group of the Year!!
It’s no surprise to us that we are a district full of incredible people doing incredible things but it is so fun to show others in our community how great our people are too!!
Congratulations to all of last night’s award winners!
