Even the toughest seasons of life - the moments that feel like loss, like starting over, like not knowing what comes next - have a way of becoming the very experiences that shape us into who we were always meant to be.

We see that transformation every single day. We see it in the tenant who gets their first set of keys and a quiet space to heal. In the individual who came to us in their hardest season and is now thriving, independent, and fully themselves🏡

Recovery, like the seasons, takes time. But every falling leaf makes room for new growth, and we are honored to be part of that journey for so many incredible people right here in Montgomery County💙

If someone in your life is walking through a hard season, encourage them to keep going because, in time, a new season will come... and new leaves will begin to grow. 🍁

Have you ever wondered why finding an affordable home in Maryland feels nearly impossible?🤔 The answer goes deeper than rising prices and low inventory. Understanding why Maryland's housing crisis exists is the first step toward being part of the solution. The end of the year is almost here😳 Housing Unlimited is just a few homes away from reaching our goal of 100 properties across Montgomery County, and with your support, we would love to make it happen before the year is out. Every donation made before December 31st is fully tax-deductible, and for our Maryland donors, it gets even better. Contributions of $500 or more may qualify for Maryland's Community Investment Program, giving you a state tax credit equal to 50% of your gift! 💰

We have worked so hard to get to this point. We have 96 homes and two more under contract. And we are actively searching for house #99 and #100. If all goes well, 100 shared homes will mean 273 individuals will be given the foundation they need to heal, grow, and build toward independence🏠Don't let the year end without being part of this milestone. A greener home is a better home for your wallet and your community 🌱🏠 Sustainability is a commitment we have been dedicated to implementing throughout our organization. It’s also what made our partnership with RE-volv, GreenBrilliance - Powering a Solar Future, and the Montgomery County Green Bank to bring solar energy to over 40 of our homes across Montgomery County so powerful, reinvesting those energy savings directly back into our mission♻️💙

But going green doesn't have to start with solar panels. Small, affordable upgrades can make a meaningful difference in the efficiency and sustainability of any home, and we want to help our tenants and community make those changes one step at a time🙌
