💚 OUR COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO SHOW UP! 💚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has heard our plea to Help Stock Our Shelves! We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of individuals, families, churches, and local businesses who continue to answer our call!

We want to give a few special shoutouts:

🧼 An anonymous donor generously donated TEN 8-packs of bar soap!

🐾 The Clements Ranvik Family and their dog, Toby, purchased dog food through our Amazon Wish List and had it delivered right to our doors!

🪥 A local dental office kindly donated toothbrushes to help meet the hygiene needs of those we serve!

⛪ Many of our local churches have stepped up and answered our call with much-needed donations. We are so grateful for your continued support!

Because of this generosity, we were able to provide much-needed essentials to our neighbors in need this week. These are everyday items that many of us take for granted but can make a tremendous difference for families struggling to make ends meet.

💚 While our hearts are full of gratitude, the need continues! Hygiene products, household cleaning supplies, and pet food remain on our shelves' most-wanted list.

🛒 Want to help? Shop our Amazon Wish List or drop off donations directly at Center for Community Services. See our flyer for details!

It truly takes a community, and we are blessed to have one that continues to show up for its neighbors! 💚

📣 Meet our 2026–2027 Youth Ambassadors!

Selected from nearly 200 applicants across 23 counties, they’re organizing neighborhood cleanups, testing local rivers, speaking up at their town councils and the State House, and inspiring classmates to care for the places they love. Over the next year, they’ll lead cleanups, represent PalmettoPride at events across the state, and help their peers take pride in keeping South Carolina beautiful.

South Carolina gained more Gen Z residents than any other state in 2024, according to a recent analysis of Census data. The next generation is choosing to call this state home, and these 16 students are already showing what it looks like to take care of it.

Congratulations to: Natalie Abshire, Grace Brusky, Grayson Castle, William Cutshall, Hannah Dean, Safa El Kouch, Corrina Giacalone, Maeve Hardy, Emil Ince, Maddison McCree, Nathan Nguyen, Jurnee Rainey, Jamiya Smith, Mckenzy Stroede, Divija Viswabrahmana, and Olyvia Wall.

We’ll be introducing each ambassador in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to get to know them! Learn more about the program at the link in the comments.
