What a wonderful way to celebrate the start of a new school year! Our back-to-school spirit-themed event brought us together in our alma mater swag, for an afternoon filled with great music, good conversation, and plenty of community spirit. ❤️

We were able to collect food donations for school backpacks and the Simsbury Food Pantry. Thank you to everyone who brought a donation and helped make the event about more than just fun-it was an opportunity to give back as well.

Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead! 🍎✏️

A beautiful morning for Simsbury democrats to take our message to the doors in order to re-elect State Senator Paul Honig and State Representative Melissa Osborne! If you’d like to get involved, send us a message! We will be out canvassing and talking to neighbors every weekend.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of former Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman. She was an iconic presence in Connecticut politics for decades, a good friend to Simsbury and served as a role model for so many. (Not to mention her legendary high heeled shoes.)

Our sincerest condolences to her family and all those who loved her.
