Carlin for U.S. Senate Republican for US Senate in Iowa. I'm an attorney, Army veteran, and public servant who has built my career standing up for people over politics. Swamp.

In the Iowa Legislature, I fought government overreach, defended individual freedoms, and exposed corruption. Jim Carlin is running for U.S. Senate to represent everyday Iowans, not the D.C. Iowans deserve a Senator who will tell them the truth, work to improve their lives and put their interests first. While in the Iowa Legislature, Carlin was instrumental in passing the Heartbeat Bill. He exposed elder abuse at the Iowa Veterans’ Home and mismanagement of the Veterans Trust Fund. Carlin also introduced legislation to implement active shooter training and infrastructure in all Iowa schools. His proposal for a property tax freeze for seniors later became law. In addition, he also proposed a bill requiring bathroom use in schools to be dictated by s*x rather than “gender identity,” which also later became law. Through Jim’s legislative career, he advocated for Iowans, not special interests. Jim is an attorney and lives in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa with his wife Donna. As you all know, I ran against Ashley Hinson in the primary. It was a spirited campaign, and I made my differences clear. While Ashley and I don’t agree on everything, I believe she is the best candidate for the US Senate this November and I plan to cast my vote for her this year. I am proud to endorse Ashley Hinson, and I hope all of you will join me in voting for her as well. Any conservative who sits this race out - or who supports another candidate - is handing the Senate Majority to the liberal Democrats. Don’t be the voter who makes Chuck Schumer the Senate Majority leader — our country simply can’t afford that. There's too much at stake; I’m supporting Ashley Hinson, and you should too.

What a journey this past year has been. While we didn’t get the outcome we were hoping for, that didn’t stop us from celebrating the incredible people who made this campaign possible.

I want to take a moment to thank every volunteer, supporter, and friend who stood with me throughout this election cycle. Whether you knocked on doors, made phone calls, hosted events, displayed a yard sign, or offered words of encouragement, you played an important role in this campaign.

I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you. Your dedication to our shared values and your love for Iowa inspire me. Though this chapter has come to an end, the fight for faith, freedom, and conservative principles continues.

Thank you for believing in me and for standing by my side. I will never stop being grateful for your support.
